After nearly 15 years working in hotel sales, marketing, and revenue management, Tucker Johnson is now an Instructional Assistant Professor with the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Immediately prior to transitioning into academia full time, he was a Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for a seven-hotel portfolio. His responsibilities included: overall revenue strategy, creating and implementing marketing plans, writing budgets, managing salespeople, and all digital marketing. Tucker received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and his master’s degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
